The Day to Day

  • A wide brimmed sun hat or beanie in winter.

    Two full changes of clothing more if toilet training.

    A coat in winter for outdoors play.

    A drink bottle to use during the day.

    All items must be named clearly.

    Sunscreen is provided however you may supply your own if preferred/required.

  • Bedding and nappies are provided, and all meals and snacks are prepared on site.

  • Upon pick up, educators will communicate with families about some of the meaningful activities and interactions of the day.

    You will also receive information on Appssessment, the interaction app where educators will communicate with families about some of the meaningful activities and interactions, including photographs and key learning outcomes.

  • You will find lost property in all rooms in separate location, and when it gets to be too big we have a designated table in the foyer.

  • The centre makes cakes with the children to celebrate their birthdays.

  • We are a breastfeeding friendly service. Mothers who are breastfeeding are welcome to attend the Service during the day to feed their infant. We have a private, clean and quiet area for mothers to breastfeed their infants or express breastmilk.

    Families that are breastfeeding should speak to the Centre Director to be aware of our policies on storing and serving breast milk.

    Families that are formula feeding should also consult our Centre Director to be aware on how we need the formula prepared and stored. Regular communication is encouraged to ensure your infant’s needs are met as they grow.

  • We operate between the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

    Closed on Victorian Public Holidays, and a two weeks shut down period over Christmas & New Years.

Enrolments, Fees & Admin

  • We don’t have a direct debit system, most families set up a direct debit in their own banking. You can request an estimate to be able to do this more accurately. On the bottom of the statements is the services account detail.

  • Send the centre an email or call on the phone to notify of your absence and a general reason in case the spread of an illness.

  • You can call the centre or email the centre of the change to circumstances, ahead of the child being picked up.

  • Yes, if we have a cancelation or a family is on a holiday, we can back fill that position.

  • You will receive a reply with an acknowledgment of your enquiry and we will inform you of any positions available. If no positions are available or the offered positions don’t suit, we will place you on our waitlist.

    Our waitlist is reviewed monthly.

  • All formal requests that can’t be allocated positions straight away are placed on the waitlist.

    The waitlist is reviewed monthly or as required.

    Once you are on the list you won’t lose your position unless you request to be removed from the list or you are allocated all requested days.

Programs and Services

  • The federal government funds 15 hours of Kinder for each 3 and 4 year old in Australia. We are an approved Kinder provider, and are proud to offer an excellent Kinder program every day of the week, to all children enrolled in the preschool room. There are no specific Kinder hours, and you can pick up your child whenever suits your family situation. The Kinder funding is applied to what would otherwise be your childcare payment to the Centre, which results in a saving of $2050 per year.
