Beechworth Childhood and Early Years Learning Centre has consistently delivered vital childcare services for the Beechworth community since 1998. What started as a group of families coming together to fulfil a need in the community’s childcare services, has now grown into a thriving early learning and childcare facility, and is today governed by a board of dedicated skilled members.
Our Centre Director Mandy has been with the centre for over twenty years. She has strong knowledge of the service and community that we live in, and if there is something she doesn’t know she will endeavour to find out.

Our team have extensive experience in the childcare industry and are committed to offering first class, educational care for children in Beechworth and surrounding communities.

Our educators all have formal training, with many years of knowledge and experience in the years learning sector. Many of the educators at Beechworth Community Early Years Learning Centre ave been employed at the service for over ten years.
The educators are trained to provide educational programs that promote learning and development. We support families with our professional knowledge and experience, as well as listen to and respect family values and child rearing practices.
The centre is well known in the community for its high level of professionalism and its standard of education.
Our centre is a place where children can feel safe, happy, and develop a sense of belonging within their community.
Our kitchen
Our catering officer prepares all the children’s meals on the premises. Our menu has been assessed by the Healthy Together Eating Advisory Service and meets the menu planning guidelines for long day care.

Our Service promotes healthy eating habits and provides delicious and nutritious food for your child each day. We provide a nutritionally balanced morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. We follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines to ensure our meals are prepared to meet the dietary requirements for all children. Our menu is carefully planned and prepared by a qualified catering officer.
We cater for the dietary requirements of all children enrolled at our Service. Please discuss your child’s special requirements, allergies and any other medical conditions with the Centre Director.
Our Governance Management Board
Our service has a skilled Board of Directors, which sets the strategic direction of the Service, and is responsible for the overall operation and effective governance as the Approved Provider of the Service.

The Board provides governance to support the operation of our education and care Service, and supports families to engage with the Service philosophy, policies and procedures, to ensure continual improvement. The Board oversees Service operations to ensure all requirements of the Education and Care National Law and Regulations are met at all times.
